Priscacara serrata + knightia
Reference :
FOD-21
This is a natural multiple , and it contains a rare and a common species from Green River Formation in Wyoming.
The fossil fish slab has been prepared into the Lithologia workshop. It has not just being sandblasted ( this removes all the fine details such as fin or tail tips wich are then painted ) , it has been skillfully cleaned under magnification .All is original , this includes the tail tips and fins. Some color has been added at very few places for coloring few missing scales .
The slab had 2 cracks so due to it's fragility it has been backed with resin and stable plywood. That make it very solid and easy to fix for display at the wall. A clip has been added for this.
.
The fishes have a size of 20.5 and 15 cm . They are well centered onto a 55 x 33 cm slab.
